Adding more homegrown Greater Pittsburgh-area talent to the squad, Anthony Harding has joined the Men’s First Team for our inaugural National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) season.

Harding, who is from North Huntingdon, just completed his freshmen year with Pitt (D1) and previously trained with the Riverhounds Academy.

“Anthony immediately stood out to the coaching staff, communicating and organizing his back line very effectively,” said Coach Tom Campbell. “He has great composure on the ball and his technical ability is obvious.”

Entering into his first summer without a structured team training, with the encouragement of his college coach, Harding knew trying out was the best option to continue to play competitively in preparation for his college season.

“I look forward to playing with new players and with new coaches,” said Harding. “I want to positively represent Pitt [Uni] soccer and Pittsburgh area soccer where ever I go. Joining the Pittsburgh Hotspurs is a great opportunity to do that.”

The Pittsburgh Hotspurs first game is May 25th in Erie against the Commodores. Tickets can be purchased here.
