We’re pleased to announce another Greater Pittsburgh-area Pennsylvania native to our Men’s First Team roster: Auston Kranick.

A Murrysville native, Kranick has just committed to Oakland University (D1) in Michigan for the fall season.

“Auston displayed a maturity beyond his years at the tryout, constantly communicating and leading his team,” said Coach Tom Campbell. “He has sound technical ability. I’m looking forward to seeing him grow throughout the season.”

Kranick has trained with Arsenal FC where he is currently wrapping up his final academy season.

“I definitely look forward to developing further as a player this summer,” said Kranick. “But too, people don’t immediately think of Pittsburgh as a soccer town. We have some great local talent, and I look forward to being apart of growing the game here with the Pittsburgh Hotspurs.”

The Pittsburgh Hotspurs first game is May 25th in Erie against the Commodores. Tickets can be purchased here.
