We’re pleased to announce the signing of Lucas Godinho to our Men’s First Team competing in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) this summer.

“The Pittsburgh Hotspurs forming gives me an opportunity to keep playing at a high level,” said Godinho, who just graduated from Point Park University.

Guzzon is a native of Brazil that came to the States in 2012 to pursue a degree. He came to Pittsburgh in 2014 following a year in California. Last season (2018) he also competed with the Fort Pitt Regiment (NPSL).

“It took Lucas a matter of seconds at the tryout to display his ability,” shared Coach Tom Campbell. “He came onto the field and immediately injected tempo into the game, breaking lines quickly and running forward. His experience and technical quality will make Lucas an important member of the squad.”

“I feel I’m physically at my best and I have experience to bring to the group,” said Godinho. “ I expect this to be a very good year.

The Pittsburgh Hotspurs first game is May 25th in Erie against the Commodores. Tickets can be purchased here.
