Luke Mort, from the Greater Pittsburgh-area, has joined the inaugural roster for our Men’s First Team (NPSL).

Mort just completed the spring season with Pitt (D1) men’s soccer and will go into his second semester in the fall where he’ll compete in his first full collegiate season.

“Luke made an immediate impact at the tryout. From the first whistle, he showed some dynamic movements and a desire to get at his opposite man,” said Coach Tom Campbell. “He has real pace and a fantastic attacking mentality.”

From Greensburg, Mort has trained with the Riverhounds and participated in their Pathway Program.

“I expect it to be a higher level than the academy and all around a top environment to keep developing as I get ready for our fall season,” shared Mort. “I look forward to playing at a higher level with experienced guys.”
