Stepping out onto the pitch again, we’re excited to announce Marissa (DeZorzi) Salisbury will be competing this season with our Women’s First Team.

No stranger to the program and style of play, Salisbury has been coaching with the Hotspurs since returning to the area. 

“This is really a comeback season that Marissa is ready for,” said Coach Tom Ovenden. “She has great experience and is a top player that, after coaching her as she grew up playing with the boys, I’m buzzing to see what she brings to the squad.”

Salisbury (Arona, PA) most recently played/committed to West Virginia University (D1), after playing in the Riverhounds Academy. 

“After all my injuries, I’m excited to be on the pitch again. I’m ready to get back to training and competing at a higher level with top teammates,” said Salisbury. 

I cannot wait to see what this season with the Women’s Team will hold.”
