Adding to our Pittsburgh homegrown talent, we’re pleased to add fullback Max Flick to the Men’s First Team for our inaugural National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) season.

Flick spent the past two seasons with the Fort Pitt Regiment (NPSL)

“Max brings loads of energy and a desire to get forward from the fullback position, which makes him an excellent fit for our club,” said Coach Tom Campbell “It was extremely evident at the tryout, why Max earned All Conference [NPSL Midwest Region, East Conference XI] honors last year.”

“I want to keep playing at a higher level, so when the team was announced I knew I needed to tryout,” said Flick.

Flick, who began his soccer days in Beaver Falls, played for the Pittsburgh Strikers and Century United. He graduated in 2016 from Point Park University where he played three years. During that time he also participated on the Riverhounds PDL (Premier Development League) team.

“The Pittsburgh Hotspurs vision and style is a platform that allows me to keep developing,” added Flick. “It’s a great fit that allows me to continue to chase my dreams as a player.”

The Pittsburgh Hotspurs first game is May 25th in Erie against the Commodores. Tickets can be purchased here.
