We’re pleased to announce another Pennsylvania native to our Men’s First Team roster: Pat Hoffman.

Hoffman, a goalkeeper, currently plays at Misericordia University (D3) and previously competed with CSA (State College, PA).

“Pat quickly made his mark at the tryout, commanding his area well,” said Coach Tom Campbell. “His technical qualities really stood out to our goalkeeping staff. We’re excited for Pat to be a part of the squad.”

With Misericordia, Hoffman has been a consistent presence as part of a strong goalkeeper core, maintaining a .75 save percentage over 3 years of collegiate play.

While home is a few hours away, Hoffman is no stranger to the city, having played in the Pittsburgh area regularly growing up.

“Being able to represent the city in the NPSL is very exciting,” shared Hoffman. “Joining the Hotspurs family gives me a great opportunity to train at a high level, and prepare for my senior year of college soccer the best way possible — with top coaching and teammates.”

The Pittsburgh Hotspurs first game is May 25th in Erie against the Commodores. Tickets can be purchased here.
