Steel City FC and BC United Form Club Partnership
Collaboration to enhance player development and expand local opportunities to players in the North Pittsburgh area.
Monday, May 19th, 2025 – Steel City FC and Beaver County United Soccer Club (BC United) proudly announce a strategic partnership, as BC United becomes an official Club Partner in the 2025/26 season.
The two programs will work together through the partnership to expand game programming and opportunities in the North Pittsburgh area.

“As BC United has grown and looked at ways to challenge and provide our players with the highest value training and development pathway, partnering with Steel City FC is the next obvious step forward,” said Marcus Burrows, BC United SC Director of Soccer.
“A partnership with BC United is the perfect fit and reflects our commitment to integrating like-minded clubs into our development pathway,’ said Steel City FC club owner and director, Tom Ovenden.
As Club Partners, BC United will utilize Brenner Lane Sports Complex as their primary home facility. Additionally, they will gain access to:

- The Steel City Premier League – A progressive games program designed to maximize player development and engagement for U8-U14 players.
- ID periods for training and competition in the Steel City FC Regional Programs (competing in the ENCL-RL (boys and girls – U13-U19) and Club Premier 2 (previously E64-RL – girls only).
- Additional training programs through the Steel City FC Development Centers and camps.

Through the partnership, BC United will collaborate with the Steel City FC North site (Butler), expanding additional player pathways for U15-U19 players in the North Western PA area.
